So as I said in a previous post, I'll be leaving for a wedding in a couple hours. I should be gone about 3-4 days, and I'm not sure if there will be internet where I'm going. So I may be MIA in other words.
That being said, if anyone would still like to leave a request they can do so on either this post, or the previous one - I'll get to them when I'm able.

Dang that's long! Longest drive I've ever done I think was about 11 hours, across half the country, but no delays, it takes a toll for sure! Good you made it back!
So how was the wedding? Did you at least get to have cake or good drinks?
Oh yeah, it was real good. It was up in Loch Lomond, if you know anything about it - very scenic. I quit alcohol years ago, but I make an exception now and then for special occasions. On the cake side of things, they had brownies for dessert... it was my kind of wedding.
I'm in crappy Louisiana, in the US, unfortunately, so I've never been to Loch Lomond, but I looked it up and it looks lovely.
I gave up alcohol too. I had a good year or so where it was sort of controlling my life, wasn't a good deal.
I'll do a nice beer every once in awhile but that's it.
But hey, you got brownies!
Trust me, things aren't so perfect in Scotland nowadays either - depends where you go.

Be sure to update us on the happy couple a year from now... Never gotten hitched myself, but I've heard that sometimes the first year is the hardest.
I like their chances, they were together for over 10 years before taking the plunge. But there's always the possibility, I guess.
This is off-topic, but I just wanted to tell you it's awesome that you put Clint Eastwood's characters in your avatar & sig. Someone on here's gotta bring that old-school grit.

Yeah, it was a 7 hour drive there and 7 hours back - delays, traffic, it was a bit of a nightmare. Glad to be back.
